The Samsung Galaxy A13 price in Kenya is around Ksh 20299. The Galaxy A13 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with Infinity-V notch, 90Hz refresh rate, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, and is based on Android 11 with OneUI 3.1.

Galaxy A13 5G has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera, along with a 2MP macro, a 2MP depth sensor, and has a 5MP front-facing camera. It has a plastic back panel and is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging out of the box.

Inside the packaging box of the Samsung Galaxy A13 is a USB type C to type C charging cable. But there is no charger. That is, there is no charging brick included in the package. Anyways moving on, there is a SIM ejector tool and that is it. This is one of the first of Samsung’s affordable phones that we’ve seen have no charger in the box.

Samsung Galaxy A13 Design

Now the Samsung Galaxy A13 smartphone looks pretty sweet. It’s nice to see some of those Samsung design hues coming down to the lower-end models. Just have our very simple triple lens set up here. You have a matte plastic finish on the back here.

There is also plastic on the sides here. On the bottom, you have a headphone jack. Love to see that and the mic also. You have a type C port capable of 15W fast charging.

There is also a single speaker on the right side. The volume rockers are at the top. And one of our favorites is the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. And on the top, we have another mic.

Samsung Galaxy A13 Nice 90Hz display

Though slightly inferior, it basically is the same display like the one we saw on Samsung Galaxy A22 which was released 2021, July 01. They are basically is the same display since here you also get a 90Hz refresh rate panel.

Immerse yourself in the large 6.4-inch Infinity-V Display of Samsung Galaxy A13. It does have an Infinity-V super vivid 720 x 1600 pixels PLS TFT. Samsung Galaxy A22 has a Super AMOLED panel compared to this.

This is also a great display because Infinity Display is a near-bezel-less, full-frontal glass, edge-to-edge screen. It is also important to note that this phone has its fingerprint scanner side-mounted and not under its display.

Samsung Galaxy A13 Cameras

When you flip the Samsung Galaxy A13 smartphone around you can’t miss the camera module on the back. The same constitutes a 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro), and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) lens.

But really the main focus here, pun intended, is on that main sensor. With 50 megapixels you should expect detailed shots. As far as videos go, this phone can shoot up to 1080p@30fps.

With other phones, like the Infinix Note 11, video recording is up to 1440p@30fps. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera that shoots okay pics.

The best use case for this selfie camera would be video calls and stuff like that. In the last place, some of the camera features of Galaxy A13 5G are LED flash, panorama, and HDR.

Samsung Galaxy A13 Performance

You will have no complaints there to be fair with the performance of this Samsung Galaxy A13 smartphone. There’s a MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G (7 nm) chipset that coppe even with its 4GB RAM.

And of course, this delivers 5G support over both of the dual SIM slots as well. The 5G bands this phone supports are 2, 5, 66, 77 Sub6/mmWave. And for the storage option, there are only 64GB available.

When you boot it up it will remind you that it is an Android 11 powered device then later on that it has One UI 3.0. Samsung’s latest One UI 3.1 over Android 11 has been included on Galaxy A13 5G.

Some of the new features include a dark mode for your menus and a new set of gestures for navigation. Here, you swipe from the sides to go back rather than swiping from the bottom like before.

But the old options are still there if you want. You also have edge panels here, which can be pretty handy swiping on the edge of the screen will bring you to a customizable space for shortcuts.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy A13 comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery. We best describe its performance as the power that keeps you going all day long. Seriously though, isn’t 5000mAh so generous? We find it is.
