Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G detailed description
Design.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G is flat and boxier than the Poco M4 Pro 5G. It’s one of many shared elements with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The body of the phone is made of matte plastic, and the rear is glass. Yes, the phone may be premium, but it certainly looks pretty good.
Display.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G’s 6.67-Inch AMOLED display, which is large than Samsung’s A33 5G, is one of the main selling points here. It features a 2,400 x 1,080 (FHD+) resolution, and a flagship-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With auto-brightness active, it will get to a peak of 1,200cd/m² when things get really bright.
Under direct sunlight the content on the display is still visible and well balanced in terms of colour. Navigating through Twitter, Facebook (Meta), Instagram and WhatsApp is pleasing.
Camera.
Aside from the display, another selling point is the Camera App. The Camera of the Poco X4 Pro 5G is the inclusion of an impressive 108MP snapper on the rear. That’s flanked by an 8Mp 118-Degree ultra wide lens and a 2 MP macro lens that aren’t quite as astonishing, but still fulfil a need when required.
You probably noticed, but this is a familiar camera setup to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Just like its Redmi Competitor, image quality from that 108MP main sensor is of a decent quality. The 16 MP selfies sensor does not shoot images of great quality. You’ll want to dial down the Beautify effect, which is aggressively active by default.
Performance.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G like the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G, and is backed by 8GB of RAM. As hardware setups go, the Poco X4 Pro 5G isn’t leaving any stone unturned. You are getting 5G speed that is unavailable in the more expensive Poco X3 Pro.
Battery
The heart of the Poco X4 Pro 5G is a 5000 mAh battery that enables it to last a day and a half with average tweeting, texting, and watching TikTok videos. This is with the possibility to squeeze it to a full two days if you are not always on your phone’s screen.
